Professional info...
I have always had an avid interest in Art and Photography. On returning from London, I took up a photography position with the County Fire Service. This enabled me to pursue my hobby whilst earning a living....the best of both worlds! Following the birth of my three children I re-trained to become a teacher. Alongside my teaching job, for relaxation I have started painting again…I began by painting wine glasses for myself, friends and family. These were always well received and through word of mouth, more and more people have started requesting my work. I get my design inspirations from many sources and I am always thinking of new ideas that can be incorporated within my work to ensure that all glassware is unique and modern in its design. I am always open to fresh ideas and when someone asks me to design something particularly suited to a certain person, I love being creative with the commission to ensure that people get a fabulous keepsake they are happy with and fits their purpose. I really enjoy creating new designs and I hope that this is reflected in the end glassware designs.
